The Jazz Factory Class Disclaimer
The Jazz Factory teachers are trained in correct dance technique and physical instruction; however, all dance classes can involve the risk of personal injury including strains, sprains, bruising and fractures.
While The Jazz Factory knows the importance of safe dance practices and takes all reasonable care in the conduct of its classes, it accepts no responsibility and excludes all liability permitted under law for injury sustained during class participation.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are physically and medically fit for the class and during the class they must take care of their own personal safety at all times. Taking care of one’s personal safety includes having a safe dance space and mandatory participation in the warm up and stretch element of the classes. Additionally, participants should take care of their personal safety by attending classes well equipped, which includes bringing their own bottled water and wearing prescribed clothing and footwear.
In addition, students and parents must adhere to The Jazz Factory online privacy policy, ensuring they do not share any confidential information, including online class content, live stream links and passwords, to ensure we can maintain all the safety measures put in place for online learning.
