Classes missed due to public holidays can be made up during the week.

Uniform

The Jazz Factory uniform is compulsory. Every student must have The Jazz Factory uniform two (2) weeks after starting at The Jazz Factory.

The Jazz Factory uniform shop is now online. Please visit the uniform page on our website. All uniform items, including jumpers in winter, must be uniform items.

Students will be asked to remove non-uniform clothing by their 2nd week of term. Female students in year 6 and over are permitted to wear a JF t-shirt over their leotard in some of their classes, depending on style and the teacher of the class. A leotard must be worn underneath their T-shirts for modesty reasons and quick change purposes.

No T-shirts to be worn in 6/7 Lyrical, Ballet, Acro, Exam, Ballet Technique and Pre Senior Jazz classes.

New students joining from week 3 are entitled to a pro-rata on the term fees.

Cancellation of enrolment after Week 1 of any term is non-refundable if a student withdraws from classes. Refunds will be made only if The Jazz Factory cancels a class. Concert costume fees are non-refundable.

Refunds will not be given if classes are missed. Students are able to participate in makeup classes if their normal classes are missed due to injury or illness. These classes must be arranged with the office. In the situation that The Jazz Factory cannot run face-to-face classes, all classes will run online via zoom. No refunds will be issued. End of year concerts

Our end of year concerts are an exciting and enjoyable experience for all students but are not compulsory. If your child would not like to participate in our concert, you will need to advise the office PRIOR to the start of Term 3 to avoid concert costume fees. Students can still participate in classes even if they are not part of concert routines.

Concerts are held on a Sunday in November/December. Students in year K+ will need to attend a concert rehearsal prior to their show for safety purposes. Our shows are split between Pre School, Junior School, Middle School and Senior School with additional shows for JF dance company and JF theatre company. Students who take multiple classes, across multiple age groups, will likely perform in more than one show.

Due to the time to order and make costumes, students will not be able to change classes after week 5 of Term 3, if they would like to be a part of the concerts. New enrolments after week 5 of Term 3 (except pre school) will not be able to be a part of our concerts, unless a costume can be organised in time.
