Since 1993, The Jazz Factory prides itself on being an inclusive and nurturing family-oriented studio that provides professional performing arts training. We run dance classes for kids of all ages and of all levels of dance training and experience. Our goal is to cultivate a passion for the arts while fostering a welcoming and supportive environment that feels like home. At The Jazz Factory, we are dedicated to empowering young performers to reach their full potential and achieve their dreams.

The JF Theatre Company

The Jazz Factory Theatre Company is a chance for passionate singers, dancers, and actors ages 8-18 to work on their skills while putting on a professional musical theatre production. The theatre company is open to all students (including non-JF students) and rehearses on a Saturday from 2:30-5:30pm for a Semester.

The Lion King will perform on Sunday November 24th @ The Zenith Theatre Chatswood.

  • This is The Jazz Factory’s most prestigious award. Chosen by our teachers, it is announced each year at The Jazz Factory’s annual concert and is presented to the student who demonstrates outstanding ability and promise.

  • Named after the school’s founding principal who now runs our sister school in New York, this scholarship is awarded to a student who shows a high level of commitment and dedication to their dancing. It is chosen by all The Jazz Factory teachers and covers all the student’s class fees for the year.

  • In 2016 The Jazz Factory created a new award called The Rising Star Award. This award is chosen by The Jazz Factory teachers and presented to a student who shows huge promise and potential. Rising star recipients are rewarded with a half scholarship for their tuition.
