Siobhan Lynch, based in Sydney, graduated at Willoughby Girls High School as DUX of Cohort Year 2018 with a number of achievements in the performing Arts including being nominated and participant of the 2017 HSC Dance ‘CALLBACKS’ for high achievers performing a self choreographed work. While at school Siobhan participated in Packemin’s Production of ‘CATS’ the Musical performed at the Concourse in Sydney and In her last year of schooling Siobhan played the lead role of ‘Audrey’ in Willoughby’s Musical production of ‘Little Shop of Horrors’.
Siobhan has been dancing since she was 3 years old and has trained in a variety of styles including ballet, contemporary, jazz, Acro, yoga, Gaga and improvisation. Upon graduating school, Siobhan commenced full-time dance training at Sydney Dance Company with their Pre Professional Year
receiving an Advanced Diploma in Elite Dance Performance. During her training with Sydney Dance Company, Siobhan was fortunate enough to work with over 40 national and international artists and choreographers. Upon graduating, she performed in ‘PPY19 REVEALED’ at Carriageworks which included a program of 4 works choreographed by renowned artists including Idan Cohen, Leah Marojevic and Vicki Van Hout, as well as performing Sydney Dance Company repertoire choreographed by the Artistic Director Rafael Bonachela.
Some Commercial Work Siobhan has participated with Sydney Dance Company includes Performer at Sydney Mardi Gras 2019 and Performer at Sydney Dance Company’s Annual Fundraising event ‘Dance Noir’.
Simultaneously, Siobhan has undertaken singing training with private coach Narelle Yeo, a member of the faculty of the Conservatorium of Music. In 2019, Siobhan achieved 1st prize in the finals of City of Sydney Eisteddfod’s ‘Senior singer of the Year Award’. Most recently in 2020, Siobhan was awarded one of 4 winners in Sydney Eisteddfods Crowd Favourites Competition out of 500 international applicants.
In 2020, Siobhan successfully auditioned for and commenced at NIDA (National Institute of dramatic Arts) studying Music Theatre. Under the direction of Mark Gaal, at Nida, Siobhan trained in the areas of Acting, Voice, Solo and Ensemble singing, Dance of a variety of styles including ballets, Acro, Jazz and Contemporary. Whilst at Nida, Siobhan also received mentorship from leading industry professionals including Philip Quast, Luke Byrne, Cameron Mitchell, Simon Burke, Prudence Holloway, Jennifer White, Garth Holcombe, Natasha Crane, Troy Honeysett and Cathie Goss.
