Jordyn Parry

Dance Teacher

Jordyn has been dancing at the Jazz Factory since the age of 4. She has shown passion and commitment to the Jazz Factory by competing in numerous eisteddfod dances as well as completing her ATOD exams up to the Advanced Level. In 2017, Jordyn travelled with The Jazz Factory to New York, having the opportunity to study at the Broadway Dance Centre for 2 weeks. She truly loved this experience as it provided her with new knowledge which she has taken into her dancing and teaching. In addition, Jordyn has also enjoyed being a part of dance at her high school Brigidine College. Here, Jordyn studied HSC dance, where she has continued to broaden her knowledge on several aspects of dance and teaching. Jordyn has also be a part of several shows at Brigidine including choreographing her year 11 play and taking on singing and dancing roles in several school musicals. Moreover, she has been a member of Brigidine’s Jazz Company team since 2017 which competed and placed at Sydney’s Dance of Champions in 2019. Jordyn started assistant teaching in 2018 which allowed her to find her passion for teaching dance. In 2019, Jordyn worked with Lauren and Brendan Paul in the JF Theatre Company productions of Alice in Wonderland and Cinderella. Jordyn enjoyed this experience very much as it has further encouraged her to pursue dance teaching. Jordyn is highly dedicated in allowing her students to not only extend their knowledge of dance, but also bring joy and smiles to all.
